Edison is a super-affordable programmable robot designed to be a complete STEM teaching resource for coding and robotics education for students. Edison Robots are an innovation from Microbric, an Australian company, and Edison is more than just a robot too...
Why use Edison Suite in your school?
Edison Robot is designed to provide students with an opportunity to experiment and have fun, while challenging their knowledge, inventiveness and imagination, without the need for expensive tools.
The Edison suite provides an end-to-end solution that empowers educators to teach coding, computational thinking and STEM to students in grade levels 3-10. The Edison suite includes the Edison robot, the EdCreate robot creator’s kit, all the Edison robotic programming languages, a wide range of educational resources plus other supporting products (including the EdMat activity mat and the Edison spare parts kit). There are three different robotic programming languages for Edison: EdBlocks, EdScratch and EdPy.
EdWare uses drag and drop graphical icons to make programming Edison super easy. Learn all the principals of robotics and programming with EdWare. This simple ‘drag and drop’ graphical programming language uses CONTROL,READ, DATA and FLOW instructions that are linked together in a logical ’flowchart’ style.
