The Blueprint Robotics Classroom Competition Pack equips up to 18 students with six BPR Kits plus a dedicated classroom competition field and game elements for structured in-class challenges. Each group has a Swerve Drive Robot, controller, mechanical parts, electronics, and basic game elements, with multi-chargers and additional shared mechanical parts included for classroom use.
Students can build robots, operate them with the included controllers and pre-loaded Rapid Robot programs, with optional progression designing custom robots and programming in Blueprint Studio with beginner-friendly configurable text snippets and Python. . The included field and game elements support Sphero's Launch Party and Block Party classroom competition experiences in the Blueprint Robotics Classroom Competition collection on Sphero Central.
This is a classroom competition configuration designed for use during a normal class period, distinct from the after-school Sphero Robotics Competition (SRC).
What Students Will Learn?
Students develop robotics and engineering skills through mechanism design, motion control, sensors, data, CAD, and systems thinking, with added emphasis on competition strategy, teamwork, communication, and adapting designs for a challenge. Blueprint Studio supports optional progression into students' own Python programs.
Who It's For:
Suited to Years 8–12 (ages 14+), with no prior robotics or coding experience needed. Arrives across multiple cartons; allow floor space for the assembled field (about 2.4 × 1.8 m).
