The Blueprint Robotics (BPR) Kit is the core kit for BPR in the classroom. It combines a ready-to-use Swerve Drive Robot and controller with the mechanical and electrical components, motors, sensors, and game elements needed for 2–3 students to build Rapid Robots and create their own mechanisms.
Because the drivetrain is ready to use, students can focus on designing and building mechanisms such as lifting arms, intakes, and conveyors. They can operate their robots with the included controller and pre-loaded programs for each Rapid Robot, with optional progression into programming in Blueprint Studio with beginner-friendly configurable text snippets and Python.
It works well for secondary robotics and engineering instruction, STEM enrichment, makerspaces, or schools piloting Blueprint Robotics before expanding to more student groups.
What Students Will Learn?
Students work with motion control, sensors, data, CAD, systems thinking, mechanical advantage, and control systems while designing and refining robot mechanisms. Blueprint Studio supports optional progression from configuration and sensor data into students' own Python programs.
Who It's For:
Suited to Years 8–12 (ages 14+), with no prior robotics or coding experience needed. A good starting point, or an extra kit to add build groups to a class set.
